Trail Race

The Bimblers Bluff 50k is an off road foot race that starts at Guilford Lakes School, 40 Maupas Rd, Guilford and passes through several inter-connected woodland preserves in southern Connecticut.

Run as many loops as you’d like of a roughly two-mile trail course as long as you're done within 400 minutes (six hours 40 minutes). The Bimbler's Bash 10K (ish) has been an annual event since 2007 that has become popular event for competitive runners and family groups. The Traprock course is a loop course of approximately 10.5-11ish miles per loop. There will be two races: one loop for the 17k and three loops for the 50k. It is a rolling course with 50% technical single track on the Metacomet Trail. The balance of the course is double-track.

12 miles of technical, singletrack trail on an out-and-back course with over 3,500 ft. elevation gain, following the ridgecrest of the Holyoke Range. It’s widely considered the most challenging trail race in the Northeast.
